Step 1 – Email Confirmation (Immediately After Payment)
Clients should get an email that clearly states:
- What they purchased (bookkeeping / tax / which year / which package, etc.).
- The total amount paid.
- The fact that it is prepaid.
The text on the site should reflect this:
You’ll receive an email confirmation with a detailed summary of exactly
what you purchased and your total.
Step 2 – Upload Documents (Secure Portal)
Clarify that clients will receive or use a secure link/portal to upload:
- Tax documents
- Bank statements, etc
Also include in that email (or step) a link back to the Tax Client Information form
on the website, in case they did not fill it out before paying.
On the site text:
- Use the secure portal link in your email to upload your documents.
- If you haven’t completed the Tax Client Information form yet, the same email will include a link to do that.
Step 3 – Optional Call
Replace “our team completes your first close…” with:
